The picture is of the Eastern Gate entrance to the old city (Jerusalem) circa May 2005. This is the gate through which Christ will return to establish his Kingdom on the Earth. Notice the graveyard which the Muslims have placed there in order to "prevent" Jesus Christ the eternal high priest from entering in through this gate lest he be "defiled" by dead bodies.

Welcome to our site! Tabernacle of Prayer is a Home Missions Church in Bakersfield, California. We are currently located at the Pastor's home: 5809 Alberta Street, Bakersfield, CA. 93304. Our service times are: Sunday Morning Worship Service: 10:00 A.M. and Wednesday Evening Bible Study: 7:00 P.M. Our phone numbers are 661.342.1467, and 661.477.1146.... Our Sunday Morning Service consists of an Adult Sunday School class in which we are going through the entire bible. This is followed by a Worship Service/Sermon...

In our Wednesday Evening Service, we're getting ready to start an Intermediate Level Bible Theology Class. We will going through such subjects as Divine Design I & II, Theology, Christology, Pneumatology, Anthropology, Soteriology, and Ecclesiology. These are subjects that you almost never hear addressed in the average church. But we have no desire to be the average church!

We will of course let the Holy Ghost have His way in our services and gladly give God the liberty to change, at a moments notice, what we may have planned in advance.
