Sea of Galilee & Baptisms in the Jordan River

Pictures From Israel (Circa May 2005)

The caption underneath each picture describes the scene.

This was the boat we used to cruise on the Sea of Galilee.

This is a picture of Katarina (right) and Sister Judy Baxter, wife of Endtime Magazine editor Irvin Baxter Jr., who leads a trip to Israel every year. It was so awesome sailing on the sea of Galilee and praising the Lord.

Here is one of the ships crewmembers showing us how they used to fish back in the day of Jesus. Personally I prefer a rod and reel... :-)

Here is the Jordan River. This section has facilities for several groups at one time to do baptisms. We had to wait our turn in order to baptize 23 members of our group in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.

Here are several members of our group who were baptized by Bro. Baxter. The young man with the goatee (Ben) was filled with the Holy Ghost just the night before. What a place to get your initial infilling of the Holy Ghost and be baptized the next day in the Jordan River!!!!

Here everybody was, patiently waiting their turn to get baptized. I have pictures of everybody who was baptized, as they were being baptized. Unless you were on our tour, you won't get copies of that.

Here was Bro. Baxter leading the willing, down to where they would be fully immersed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Devil's getting ready to lose another one!!!!

The biblical story of Jesus' own baptism.

We have more pictures than we will be able to put on the site with our current budget constraints. If you copy the picture to your computer, you will be able to blow them up considerably as they were taken with a 7.1 megapixel camera.

All pictures were taken by Pastor William Johnson, and all copyrights belong to him. These pictures may be freely copied and distributed as long as they are not sold for profit, and the pictures are attributed to Pastor Johnson.
