The picture is of the Eastern Gate entrance to the old city (Jerusalem) circa May 2005. This is the gate through which Christ will return to establish his Kingdom on the Earth. Notice the graveyard which the Muslims have placed there in order to "prevent" Jesus Christ the eternal high priest from entering in through this gate lest he be "defiled" by dead bodies.

Tabernacle of Prayer

An Apostolic Fellowship

Welcome to our site! The Tabernacle of Prayer is a new church in Bakersfield, California. We are located at 7400 District Blvd, Suite C, Bakersfield, CA. 93313.. We are currently in the process of setting up the building, but we have begun teaching Rev. Irvin Baxter's "End Time" bible studies on Friday nights at 7:00 P.M.. If you have not seen the video's or been taught the course out of a manual, you will be amazed at the insight Bro. Baxter has as it relates to end time events. We will of course offer bible studies on differing topics on other nights upon request.

In the meantime, the church doors are not yet open for regular services, but the expected start date is: April 19, 2009 (unless the Lord decides to have us start earlier). Once we're open for regular services, our service times will be Sunday Morning: 10:00 A.M. Sunday Evening: 6:00 P.M. and Wednesday Evening 7:00 P.M..
