An Apostolic Fellowship
Note: There will be no service Sunday 2/28/10 as we are in the process of moving to a new location. Welcome to our site! Tabernacle of Prayer is a new church in Bakersfield, California. We will be located at 5809 Alberta Street, Bakersfield, CA. 93304. Our service times are: Sunday Morning Worship Service: 10:00 A.M. and Wednesday Evening Bible Study: 7:00 P.M... We are relocating into the Pastor's home while we rebuild our funds enough to enable us to move back into a building. Please call for directions or check out the map link on the left.
Our Sunday Morning Service consists of an Adult Sunday School class in which we are teaching a "10,000" foot overview of the entire bible (which will take several weeks). This is followed by a Worship Service/Sermon... As we grow and add children, we will have children's Sunday School classes as well. We do have a nursery for those with babies and/or very young children.
In our Wednesday Evening Service, we have started our "Endtime" series again, so if it appears the lights are out, try the door anyway as the lights may be out/dimmed to enhance clarity on the screen. At this time of year we are only doing our Endtime studies bi-weekly. On the off weeks we are going through our Basic Bible Doctrine series

We will of course let the Holy Ghost have His way in our services and gladly give God the liberty to change, at a moments notice, what we may have planned in advance.
